ABOUT ME
Professional Highlight Reel
I am a Moncton, New Brunswick-based freelance writer and self-publisher with 20 + years of experience in public relations writing, and promotional work for non-profit, government and business. I am a versatile communicator who focuses mostly on general business and topics of human interest. A skilled interviewer, I can distil information taken from industry experts into a digestible format for a wide range of audiences. I am currently serving as Executive Director for the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick.
I am a born-and-raised New Brunswicker, wife of 30 years, mother to three grown-up kids. I love to paint, sing, bake, hike (after I eat what I bake). I like camping in the rain. I’d like to hike the Fundy Footpath, but I hear it’s challenging.
I love historical fiction, fantasy/science fiction, dystopian and the biographies of interesting people. And a really, really good love story never goes amiss.
Current personal project
A novel set on the Bay of Fundy, and a whole pile of half-finished short stories.
Here you can check out my books, available for purchase, and you can read my blog posts on the writing life, a little bit of fiction, plus some family & personal stuff. I hope you find something here to entertain, challenge or inspire you.
