The handwriting-er-the typing on the wall
Mr. Milner was my grade four teacher and he had the loveliest handwriting. On the chalkboard, I admired the way he wrote in flowing, classical strokes and perfectly straight lines. By grade nine, when...

Yes, but who am I really?
Born-and-raised New Brunswicker, wife of (nearly) 28 years, mother to three (almost) grown-up kids, I love to paint (canvas, not walls), sing, bake, hike (after I eat what I bake), and exercise at the gym. I like camping in the rain, but my family likes hotels.
I love historical fiction, fantasy/science fiction, dystopian and the biographies of interesting people. And a really, really good love story never goes amiss.
I think Neil Gaiman is a genius, and Katherena Vermette is a Canadian national treasure.
Current personal project
A novel set on the Bay of Fundy, and a whole pile of half-finished short stories.
Here you can check out my books, available for purchase, and you can read my blog posts on the writing life, a little bit of fiction, plus some family & personal stuff. I hope you find something here to entertain, challenge or inspire you.
